About Us:
We founded Forum Home Appliances Inc. in 1995 as a specialty small appliance store, which focused on selling quality merchandise, backed up with exceptional customer service. We are based in Vancouver Canada’s famous Chinatown and are known to many of Vancouver’s experienced shoppers as having an extremely wide selection and competitive pricing on all of our products. Originally focusing on Asian appliances, we now stock over 400 different models of appliances, which may be found all over the world, including many you may have never have even heard of. We here at Forum Home Appliances are dedicated to being able to find and stock the latest appliances out on the market. If there is an appliance out there that you are looking for and unable to find, please contact us and perhaps we may be able to help you find it!
Online Store:
Since the opening of our first retail store in Chinatown, we have attracted customers from all over North America, with our large selection of hard to find appliances and imported Asian appliances at competitive prices. When they returned home, many of our visiting customers showed their friends and family the products they purchased from us during their trip to Vancouver, and their friends and family wanted to purchase these products also. Also, many of these visting customers wanted to buy additional products from us for themselves, and wanted to view our complete selection of products to choose from. Therefore, in 1999 we opened our online store.
Parts and Service:
In our early years, we found that some of our customers were not satisfied with the after sales service they were recieving from some manufacturers. With our commitment to exceptional customer service we found this unacceptable, so we decided to take on the responsiblity to handle the warranty service for some of the brands we carry. Since then we have become the local Authorized Service Centre of many addtional brands. We have earned the reputation of having knowledgeable staff to help you choose the right product to fit your needs before you purchase it, and are also happy to assist you with any problems you may experience with a product that you purchased from us, or even another retailer in our area. Our technicans are specialized in small home appliances so even if your product is past warranty we would be happy to examine it and see if we can repair it for you at a reasonable price.
We also keep stock on the most common parts and accessories for the brands which we service. Many of these parts are available here on our online store. If you are looking for a part that you do not see online, please feel free to contact us. If we do not have this part in stock we would be glad to special order it for you.
